Your CBAM cost, worked out for your products

Tell us what you import and where it's made. Within 24 hours you get an email with what CBAM will cost you per tonne and per year, using the EU's official numbers, with the source for every one.

What you get

  • For each product (up to 5, by CN code or name): the official default emissions for its country of production, from Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/2621, Annexes I and IV as replaced by Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/1740.
  • The 2026 and 2027 mark-ups: 10 % and 20 % for steel, aluminium, cement and hydrogen, 1 % for fertilisers.
  • The latest certificate price: €82.32 for 2026-Q3, from the European Commission.
  • Your estimated cost per tonne, and per year if you tell us your tonnes.
  • The official source for each number, so you can check it or pass it on.

Example

Bolts and screws (CN 731815) made in India, in 2027: a default value of 5.72 tCO2e per tonne, 6.864 with the 20 % mark-up, so about €565.04 per tonne at today's certificate price. For 500 tonnes a year, that's about €282,520.

How it works

  1. Pay $29 by card.
  2. List your products, where they're made and your tonnes a year, if you know them. Not sure of a CN code? Write the product name.
  3. Get your report by email within 24 hours. Reply with any question.

Figures are gross: the amount owed is usually lower after the free allocation adjustment and any carbon price paid in the country of production. Want to check one code yourself first? The free lookup has the same numbers.
